AIPP awards to share...it's sort of official

Last weekend at the National Museum the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) held its local professional photography awards for ACT. It was an awesome 3 days to be involved in, not only as an entrant but as a first-time judge on a panel of 5 for the portrait and wedding category. It really was an amazing and positive experience to be involved with photogs such as Jackie Dean, Anna Blackman, Pippin Walton, Daniel Capobianco and Kylie Lyons just to name a few!! I LOVED IT and really got a lot back from being involved.

Overall it was a great result for me – I received the highest scoring wedding portfolio for a Canberra photographer and overall received runner-up ACT AIPP Wedding Photographer of the Year. These were the following images that scored 80 through to 88 with a silver distinction.
