Telstra Women's Business Awards - National finalist in Melbourne - 11 Novemeber 2009

Such a big post to write about this one......Last week I was involved as one of the National finalists for the Telstra Business Women’s Awards in Melbourne.

What an opportunity of a life-time to be involved in such an event – both personally and also for my business. I was emotional for the whole 3 days we were there. Hearing these women speak was something that effected me in more ways than one. Such amazing stories were shared and even more amazing connections were formed with people from all around Australia.

Telstra really looked after everyone soooooo well (they really deserve an extra special thanks). We had 3 glorious days at the Grand Hyatt, not to mention all the amazing functions that allowed us to network and get to know each other along the way as well.

No, I didn’t win but without sounding too clichĂ© I won so much more than I even imagined to be standing on that stage. I would like to congratulate Emma Cassar who did win from Victoria – another very inspirational woman. It was a pleasure to get to know Emma while we were there too.

A beautiful shout out to my other fellow ACT finalists - Veronica Wensing, Jo Metcalfe & Vicki Berry. We lived out of each other’s pockets and I have to say, I loved every minute of it!! The amazing support and encouragement we all gave to one another was nothing short of incredible. What amazing women you all are!!

Below are some images i managed to take on my tiny point & shoot - quality a bit ordinary
