Jesh De Rox - life (as an artform) experiential workshop

I think this might be a long post....... almost 2 weeks ago I hosted a workshop for the amazing and very inspirational Jesh De Rox (http://www.jeshderox.com) from Canada. How do you even put into words the week we had??

We had 20 photographers travel from all over the place the be here. It was a very open house by the end of the week so it was incredibly difficult to see everyone go. This has been the second time I have attended one of Jesh’s workshops and they couldn’t have been more different. I have learnt so much......learnt to be a better person, a better photographer and enjoy everything in my life and all that it has to offer me. Lifelong friendships were made and older ones renewed, what else can you say to that.....life-changing!!

I think myself lucky and very fortunate to have such a wonderful friendship with Jesh. In just one year he has turned my life upside down and helped me to shift my whole direction – for that I will forever owe him for all the support and guidance he has given me. One other special little surprise packet was Jerry Ghionis http://www.jerryghionisblog.com. Having Jerry here brought the whole room happiness and laughter.

To me, Jerry and Jesh have been two photographers that have had to most influence over my whole business and career. Having them here together and experiencing their very unique friendship was something that had a massive impact on me. It was such a privilege to me to have you both stay here and share your incredible gifts with so many of us.

A few special thanks.........Heather, Steven and Pete for helping me put this all together. Dearest husband Phil for leaving us the whole house for 5 days!! To 3 of my very special and beautiful couples for volunteering their valuable time to be here – Sandra & John, Sal & Jimmy, Tara & Colin - thank you so much for your HUGE trust, everyone loved you guys so much (not as much as me though)!

Can we start planning 2010??
xx
