Nick & Bethany - 25 April 2009

What happens around Anzac Day in Canberra……….everyone turns their heaters on for the first time, right???? Well that theory certainly didn’t let us down for Bethany & Nick’s special day!!! We had all the elements again - 11 degrees, wind, rain, sunshine, thick black clouds and beautiful, beautiful light!!!!

Over 200 guests packed the Chapel to witness a very moving ceremony between Bethany & Nick with a surprising, yet VERY effective entrance song by Guns N’ Roses (you had to be there).

I found out from Bethany & Nick only a short time ago that they both have some serious musical talent, both in guitar and singing. Oh my, they didn’t let me down….. I encouraged Nick to bring along his pride and joy for the shoot but decided to put them on the spot and asked them to sing for us. One could almost say I was crying (mostly from the wind and rain in my eyes) but they sang beautifully together…..THEN, the whole bridal party came in. UNREAL! What a talented bunch of young people these guys are, they absolutely blew us away.

For such a big wedding I could not have felt more at home with both families. I loved every part of this awesome wedding – right from the early stages of the day in the Tullis family home to doing the Nut Bush on my chair at Old Parliament House. All of which made a perfect day with perfect photos.

Kelly,

You are one extremely talented lady and thank you for your beautiful words. You have depicted the magic of the day, the love between our gorgeous children and the happiness felt by us all in such a unique and brilliant way. Your vision is really something else. Like Chris, I can't wait to see the rest. My father was passionate about photography and I know he would be very impressed with your work (and that's really saying something I think). Thanks Kelly.
